Hailing from an agricultural background in Invercargill, Christine pursued her academic pursuits at the University of Otago, where she studied accountancy. Commencing her professional journey as a graduate at PwC, she dedicated several years to the firm, steadily rising to the position of Partner in 2017. In 2018, Christine ventured into a new chapter by acquiring the accounting and advisory practice from PwC Otago, assuming the role of Managing Director at Barr Burgess & Stewart Ltd (BB&S). Her current role allows her to thrive in collaboration with privately owned and family businesses, corporates, and charitable trusts.

While Christine's professional endeavours hold immense significance in her life, she places equal importance on her role as a devoted mother to her daughter, Danica, and as the companion of her lively British bulldog, Alan.
